“Today the ankle, the foot area was bothering him again,” Larranaga said. “It’s very, very frustrating for him and all of us. Don’t want to take any chances. He was not comfortable and it could be this week (that he returns). Maybe this week will give him a little more time and he’ll play Saturday. Up until 3 this afternoon we just didn’t know if Chris was going to be able to really go. At the shootaround he did everything. But the ankle never could get loose.”
