The speaker confirmed what @gferman said about Kendal Briles not getting an offer but took the discussion he and Mario had about salary back to his agent. He also said something that made alot of sense with the OC and DC search and why it's taking so long and for all of Chicken Little's out there it's not due to lack of interest or Mario getting turned down. Mario is not only looking for great play callers, he is also looking for an OC that complements the Defense with his play calling and vice versa. This is something he learned from Saban. There are also 7 NFL jobs open and some of these guys would rather go to the NFL and not deal with college football recruiting, NIL, Transfer portal. This probably one of the reasons Gary said there is a shortage of good coordinators.
