1. There is more talent in Georgia than in Florida right now but that talent wasn’t born and raised in Georgia, they are transients just like most of the folks in Metro Atlanta. Mostly because there are more opportunities for people of color in this city compared to South Florida. I can’t tell you how many people I bump into that are from South Florida that now live up here in Atlanta. There is a reason the ATL looks like Hardrock every time Miami plays up here. A lot of those fans LIVE here! And all their kids are in the football circuits here. It’s only gonna scale out even more over time.
**I’d advise South Florida businesses and community leaders/politicians to pay attention to this trend of folks leaving for a better quality of life because South Florida recruiting hasn’t been the same the last 3-4 years and it isn’t trending favorably. Sophisticated NILs with local businesses can be a major solution to this.
