Thank G-D the Republican controlled States have stopped paying people to sit home smoking weed and playing video games. I posted the other day how RED states would help Biden. He has DONE NOTHING to improve job numbers nor have any Blue states.
Joe will show these right wing nutjobs how to build an economy that benefits ALL Americans. Not just the rich and big companies. Nice job Joe!!
This is good news. It appears like the economy is in good shape as we wrap up the COVID period.
Tell us what his plan is. Is it rapidly rising inflation with skyrocketing prices at gas pump, building supplies, food supplies which is a hidden tax on families and restaurants struggling to survive? Maybe it's paying able bodied people to stay home and not work causing a huge labor shortage but buying votes. Maybe it's the open borders policy with thousands of illegal immigrants about to take jobs away from Americans who are not highly skilled. What is " the plan"?

The point is, even if you're talking about red states, their action could not have impacted the job numbers. There simply wasn't enough time.
559,000 is a lot of jobs. Too bad that was 17% below Biden's projections for May. In New Hampshire where I live, the governor is ending the $300/'month additional unemployment stipend and adding an additional stipend for those returning to work. That's great news because there isn't a hotel, restaurant or bar that is fully staffed, many have to operate at significantly reduced capacity

it's crazy to think that people with a couple kids or more were making over 30k for the last year sitting at home while i go to work every single day and made around 50k in the last year. as a married couple that would be over 60k. me and my wife made a little over 80k last year while working.
