  • Does anyone know where to watch a replay for a Comcast/Xfinity customer? Damn ACC Network...
  • Carolina QB is going to be a problem in the Coastal for at least the next three years if he stays healthy, gotta pressure and blitz him or he will pick apart many secondaries. But...
  • Said to some folks sitting next to me at Keenan last night "if someone (especially a Sr. LB) doesn't step upend make a play, this game will not end well". Where were the Sr. LB's on that 4th down play? Finley? Garvin? Patchan? A true freshman QB didn't turn it over once an we were all waiting for it, even SC forced him into a mistake or two. I was most disappointed by this, mostly on the following play...
  • Related to that, not sure where the blame is on 4th and 17 but gotta at least pressure and get to the kid and hit him on that play, inexcusable to have that much time to throw on that down. If Miami doesn't win the Costal this year, remember that play.
  • Where I do agree with Gary's article...recruiting misses on elite receivers and CB's is showing and might lose Canes another game this year. Thomas drops another well thrown ball, Hightower drops one, Mallory drops the two point conversion (I know a TE but Shockey/Winslow make that catch all day), when did a corner even near make a play tonight beyond dropping a couple of picks between Bandy and Ivey? NC looked much faster at skill positions from my seat in the stands, not a good sign.
  • No issue with Enos, the plays were there. I would have run the ball even more as it was working, but good mix of plays in general, Carolina was on the field a lot and gassed. Just piss poor red zone execution.
  • Baxa, inexcusable to miss the two chip shots first three weeks, gotta fix that moving forward as it probably cost us both games. The FG at the end, can't blame him.
  • Carolina is not as bad as folks suggested, well coached, much more disciplined all around than Canes. They will be in a decent bowl game this year. Hats off to them, fans filled up the place and were into it all night, great atmosphere at a basketball school.
  • Team could have folded and thrown in towel and lost ugly, they did not. Liked the fight and effort. That has not always been the case in Canes teams since 2003.
  • I do not like Knowles at Safety, no confidence in that. Ivey looks horrible. Need Bolden to get cleared badly. Why not throw Couch or Williams or K. Smith out there if the backfield play is that poor? Losing Carter to a call that I think was BS really could have also cost the Canes this game.
  • Good news, through two games no key or season ending injuries and still going to get Lingard, Silvera, maybe one of the backup LB'ers, and Bolden at some point this year, needed quality depth.
  • Can't go to Carolina and expect to get any calls your way...everyone here knows Jimmy's statement, get over the refs, gotta play better regardless.
  • I think Manny left some timeouts on the field tonight, a couple of key spots (late in game as Carolina was driving and D was tired, calling best play on offense going for it on the Williams rush that was a turnover on downs, someone seeing that we didnt have leverage on that blocked extra point) needed a TO. Also, not clean on who is supposed to be on the field on offense and defense three weeks in, gotta clean that up in practice. I am still a believer in Manny and this staff.
  • Wonder if the lack of subbing on defense also hurt today on that last drive. I think it shows how bad the depth on this team is talent wise right now.
Carolina will not beat Clemson, just need one more team to knock them off. They host UVA, go to Wake on a short week this week, and go to NC State and go to Blacksburg. I think they don't escape that without a win. So, the margin of error has decreased, but the Coastal is not lost. Season will likely come down to winning in Tallahassee, beating UVA, and not losing any more Conf games, not looking good now, but not impossible. Key the next two weeks...put the games out of hand early, stay healthy (see Gator injuries in a blowout yesterday), and get the young kids especially at skill positions, some good playing time, gonna need them in a conf game at some point this year.
