The fans care more about winning, restoring pride in this program, and winning national championships, than the actual players putting on the uniform and playing on gameday. Diaz ought to find 53 or whatever the number is these days, players with eligibility, and let them suit up and fight for the U on that helmet. Cause I'll tell you man it's getting more and more and more tiresome reading about safe space trophies, and dudes jerking each other off over jokes, and all the look-at-me social -media BS after a loss... Dudes back in the day would get jacked in the face and hazed for some of the soft mentality permeating in this program. We need players who will police other players.
