Actually I was. Served in 6th marine regiment out of camp Lejeune. And of course I know the difference between war and post war. The question is why would the botching of those two wars be different. Biden screwed up and service members died as a result. George Bush led us into a war under false pretenses and thousands of service members died. Yet somehow I have blood on my hands because I voted for Biden and you don't have blood on yours. By the way was January 6th a full war invasion as you call it? Any blood on your hands for that?
The bottom line is its not the fault of American citizens in situations like this. Obviously you're not responsible for the service members that died in an unnecessary war started by the person you voted for. Nor am I responsible for the deaths of the service members in this instance. ISIS is responsible. Yet somehow you're more pissed off at and hold people like me more responsible for this than you do ISIS. You are clearly brainwashed by Trump, fox, OAN and any other bullshit artists that you listen to. I thank God you aren't serving and have probably never served a day in your life because you clearly have disdain for your country and most of the people in it.

It was the Bush administration that started the move on Afghanistan. For twenty years we were there with no plan for sustainability. Of course there was tons of $$$$ available for govt contractors, the military industrial complex. But when it came to aiding the afghan people there was no money left. This was perpetuated for 20 years. If I were a Afghan civilian recruited to be a member of its Armed Forces I am not performing to the best of my ability because my Govt is corrupt.

His plan (or lack thereof) directly caused 13 American servicemember's to lose their lives.
He promised we would get everyone out that wanted to get out before the deadline... and then he left 250 American citizens there.
Those actions are deserving of nothing less than a court marshal. Impeachment is more likely... but as the Commander in Chief, this applies too. That is BLATANT conduct unbecoming... inexcusable.

It's not that we left Afghanistan. Most Americans agree with that. It's the way we EVACUATED Kabul that has almost everyone in despair and anger. We lost 13 Marines and others in what can only be described as a disastrous evacuation, not a withdrawal. And we left Americans and key allies behind, something Biden said would never happen.
Trump, for all his flaws, never liked Bush and Cheney and he fired Bolton. And almost all Trump supporters condemn what happened on January 6th. It was deplorable. But for Biden to call it the biggest threat to our democracy since the Civil War is simply preposterous and it shows how out of touch with reality he is.
They won't tell us how many Americans we left behind, but it's certainly more than they are admitting. We left ten's of thousands of Afghani's who helped us.
What exactly are the terms of surrender initiated by DJT and Mike Pomkin isnt saying a word; He was in the same room with DJT and the Taliban rep when the principles were initiated. Another question: was the Biden administration briefed by the DJT staff on the terms of surrender? Repub law makers are not saying a word because they are afraid of DJT.
