Didn't know we were going to a "our society and especially our inner-cities are far too violent" discussion. Of course, I was born and raised in Chicago and it's terrible what's going on there and in our society as a whole. I'm not a "defund the police" or "take all the guns" guy but obviously what we've been doing (or not doing) as a country has not been working for quite sometime. 😢
That said the murder rate in the US is actually much lower than where it was back in the 1990's and 1970's.
