Our Intel community absolutely failed us, Biden 100% should be thrown out of office. If you load thousands of Afghans on lot planes and have no way to check them or their ID you don’t really know who they are. These are SIV people, not random Afghans. As in - people who helped the American military and earned the right to come to America via Special Immigrant Visas. Its a no brainer to allow them in.
One of those killed like that was Maj Brent Taylor from Utah. He was shot in the back of the head in 2018 3 times by an Afghan soldier that he was training. Taylor also happened to be the Mayor of North Ogden at the time of his death and left behind a wife and 7 children. To get an idea of the kind of man Taylor was, an Afghan soldier that he had worked with sent a message to Taylor's widow. In it he stated that Maj Taylor helped him become a better man and husband and taught him how to treat his wife with respect. RIP Maj Brent Taylor.

Well he was certainly right in this instance. The War in Afghanistan had to end. It was a pointless strain on our resources for a country that is no longer the epicenter of global terrorism. It was time to leave. Even Donald Trump agrees with this basic reality.
The decision to leave is separate from his failed implementation of the process. Pudding Brain was wrong about the Taliban's ability to take over the country so fast and his ignorance directly led to what we are seeing now as we scramble to keep our citizens safe there. Joe Xiden and his cackling VP are in charge now, let's start judging them on their incompetence, instead of trying to blame 45 for their complete lack of leadership on any important issue.
Very dramatic. Americans have gotten out (those who want to leave), SIVs are getting processed and have C17s to take them out, we are negotiating with the Taliban leadership in Qatar to avoid any further fighting. So what exactly is the issue ?

I agree it could've been managed better, but ultimately, the Afghan Army surrendering had nothing to do with us. These soldiers simply lacked the will to fight for their country (for whatever reason). That's not America's fault.

He didn't receive faulty intelligence, he chose to simply ignore his military advisors when they told him to leave 5,000 troops on the ground and not close Bagram Air Base until after all US assets were evacuated. Pudding Brain strikes again.
