I hate coming here to read about the Canes and finding politically driven off topic crap.

I do not discuss politics as a general rule with people I am not close with because I'm passionate about things that can place me in direct conflict with those I'm more interested in being friendly with.

Probably a cop out but, I usually try to find common ground to build friendships rather than argumentative space.

I got sucked into a thread regarding the attacks in Paris and read some things I felt were distasteful.

I reacted in predictable fashion. UGLY.

I apologize for that to anyone that might care.

But I'm glad I did tho because that's all Facebook is anymore...political drama with a couple people posting what they had for dinner sprinkled in. So heck even if the politics does rear its ugly head once a week on here I'm an old Facebook vet so it won't bother me much lol!!

Don't take someone's political views personal. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. I simply feel sorry for the liberals that believe they can create a utopia and welcome all of them to leave USA and move to Venezuela or some other socialist utopia. lol.

Well, cause very little in life is that sectioned off.

I am very political but I make it a point to never start political threads.

However, that's not reality and the Mizzou and Northwestern fiascos prove it.

Football is not isolated from politics.

Like the Israeli foreign minister told the Brazilian minister that called IsraelI attacks on Palestinians "disproportionate"..... that their 7 to 1 loss to Germany was "disproportionate"
