Obviously, as Canes we all think Dre should go on the first ballot. But we all know the prejudice voters have against modern-day receivers....hell, there are probably still articles out there debating his candidacy (lol).
He has a legit shot to finish as 2nd all-time in receiving yards, but his TDs have always been low, and it doesn't appear that he'll ever get the chance to be the #1 on a contending team (hurts to say that, but clearly he doesn't have the wheels he used to).
Still, if he finishes #2 in yards, I think he goes 1st or 2nd ballot....the fact that Houston never found either a legit franchise QB or reliable #2 receiver during his glory years actually helps his cause, as does the fact that they have had tremendous running games. Dre's numbers have been ridiculous.
What do u guys think ?
