Kind of surprising? I mean how did they even have him on their radar given the fact that he has never coached anywhere but HS?
they hired Madison in a lessor role who has toiled at lower level schools at the college level and then with the Chiefs. That’s more of a typical progression.
Just wondering what the connection is if anyone knows w Surtain.

He’s a defensive assistant with the Dolphins according to his recent profile. All pro NFL corner and coach coming out of HS a bit different that an everyday Joe HS coach going to the NFL.
I’m pretty sure his NFL son had a little coaching from dad during his early years.
