First, it's the coaches that recruit the players and recruiting is a BIG part of their job. Moreover, a known and respected coach will attract better recruits.
Second, by all metrics Miami has recruited talent that's better or at least on par with UNC over the past few years. That said, Miami was totally out coached prior to and during the game.
If recruiting is a problem it's ONLY because the coaches are a problem.
