Please be honest. We understand and accept that you might not agree with every word of this. That is OK, but to call it fringe is a bit hysterical. But please tell us any of the discussed areas of satire that do not have a significant element of truth? Let's just take the first, China's involvement in the US education system. Are you really saying that China does not attempt to financially influence US education? We can debate their affect but to refuse to acknowledge the Billion$ of attempt$ is naive.
Did you really watch the video or decide after about 20 seconds that it was not your narrative, turned it off and wrote "fringe"? If you actually watched it, I would welcome an essay on after removing the satire, which of the video's assessments were out of the realm of possibility?

Sorry 17. I watched the whole 10 Minute video and found it hard to believe that anyone would take this guy seriously. His “satire” was nothing more than small minded stereotyping of top universities playing to the anti intellectual prejudices of the Right. He isn’t clever. He isn’t funny. He isn’t charismatic. But, he does want you to sign up for his newsletter.
Does he actually recommend that you don’t send your kids to college so that they won’t be exposed to the dangerous influences of the Left? Does he prefer that you keep them in a closet where they only read stuff written by and talk to people who agree with their parents?
IMO, kids should go to college, or not, according to their own values, goals and beliefs. Charlatans like this guy add no value to that decision by the potential students.

You're stuck in the weeds. It appears you are too busy being offended by the satire to look at the big picture. No, he is not saying no one should go to college, he is saying that political indoctrination is not education. And no he is not saying that students should not be exposed to varying views. He is also not saying that parents who find CRT not much more valuable than pornography should be harrassed by the FBI due to Merrick Garland's financial interests.
Numerous studies have shown that for far too many $6 figure educations, there is not a positive ROI. The world only needs to many anthrolpologists. And you certainly don't need an anthropologist if you have a clogged toilet or want to install solar panels on your roof? And how many Women's, African American, Oriental, Eskimo, Latino, Islamic , Aboriginee or Central Antartican studies Doctoral recipients with $ix figure student loan debt making capachino's at StarBucks does the planet need?
I am not saying that this video is the best presentation of a balanced approach to education, it is not. But for you to summarily dismiss validity of the underlying issues is as close minded as those that say every dollar provided to education is good, no matter how corruptly that dollar ends up being spent.
I will agree that the creator's schtick is overdrawn. He is fine for two minutes or less. Anything more and he becomes ponderous.

17, I don’t know why or where or if the Chinese Govt is investing in US educational institutions. If it is, I would not easily conclude that it’s goal is to subvert US education. Rather, I would lean towards an assumption that China wants to gain intellectual property from research done at US universities.

Yep, Friends of Epstein are the people that should be entrusted with our tax dollars to be in charge of creating our children's curriculum. And Merrick Garland should should absolutely use the full force of the FBI to protect those wonderful people that accepted donations from a known pedophile and human traffiker. I'll ask you, why did all of those Ivy League Universities accept Epstein dollars? And why "if they didn't know" haven't they created a fund with all principal and interest to the victims, their families and legitimate organizations that protect "at risk women"? Why are they benefiting from the "ill gotten gain"?

My formal schooling post high school was 1/2 in the Northeast and 1/2 in the West. I am a native of the West and live there now. That’s my self identification.

Author is trying to visually portray himself as a University level employee, obviously too old visually to be a student in most cases however one that in the know at some level. He then comically rips apart the Liberal University stereotype pointing out what idiots these people he is making fun of are.

The poster I most recall for announcing his superior intelligence is BreakingCane who always refers to people who don’t agree with him as “low IQ”, “sheep’, etc. He has been MIA for a couple of weeks. Was he banned for his numerous personal and obscene attacks on other posters?
I heard that rumor (Ferminated) about BreakingCane. Also heard he has been in Afghanistan rescuing American's that Biden, Blinken and Milley left behind. I think we all could understand why he would need to keep a low profile?
