Hello, Caniacs...
The weekend is almost upon us so as we head into this big ACC series at home with Pitt (they're ALL BIG now), below is a stat comparison between UM and Pitt.
I did this for the UVA series and forgot to double back and do same for U last week at VT.
Note that Pitt has won 4 straight ACC series: Clemson, Louisville, BC and UVA.
The Panthers lost to WVU at home Wednesday, 3-2 in 11 innings. Committing 4 Es sure didn't help. Per Division1Baseball.com, between the Louisville series and WVU, Pitt lost 6 starters to injuries including all 3 outfielders, SS and 3B. They expect some, if not all, back this weekend, so we need to keep an eye on that.
Enjoy!

Isn't it interesting that all five independent polls voted Miami the same, despite losing 2 of 3?
I hope U can join me Friday night for Game 1 here on CS. I plan to cover Games 1 & 2 but Game 3 is doubtful.
Have a great Friday and...
