Major rifts between Bob Igar and his handpicked successor Chapek.

Disney was already facing serious problems INTERNALLY before the passage of the Florida Bill.
Not talked about were issues such as:

1) Forcing 2000+ employees to re-locate to Florida from California Disney Imagineering or be fired
2) Chapek raised ticket, hotel, and food prices making it even more expensive to visit. This came on the heels of covid lockdowns. Employees were shocked.
3) Cutting food and other perks to employees including free shuttles
4) Heavily editing movies that featured Gay characters. We might not care but Disney's diverse employee sector sure did.
5) An email sent out by Bob Igar that undercut Chapek at the start of Covid lockdowns which basically said he, (Igar) would work hand in hand with Chapek to overcome this terrible time. Chapek did NOT want Igar's help and felt it undercut him as CEO.
6) Rides and attractions in a state of dis-repair. Employees refer to them as being "Chapekd"

In general this CEO is NOT liked nor respected.
So Disney can use the Florida Bill all they want but this was going on long before the Bill.
Worth noting Chapek made 66 million last year.
