I said it 10 years ago when I came on this board that UM is using an archaic model that will not last in todays CFB landscape. So many fans pointed to our "talent base" and that we don't need great coaching. Well, as my arty brain works it; if you don't have something secured then you cannot rely on it as an asset.
I'll say it until I'm gone from this spinning rock, for UM to ever compete in CFB again they will need to spend money. Simple! Also, make the right decisions on the infrastructure to lead the program. Put down the 30/30 tapes and focus on NOW!
PS. Get an AD that has won and won big at his school and coaches that have won. Bring in a team of winners! Simple formula.
