Obviously, their primary goal was "political strategy" and not withdrawal strategy. The Biden administration had very little military planning to protect Americans and to get them out hence the contradictions between what the president says, Blinken says and the military says. Whoever is calling Biden's shots is primarily concerned with messaging and spin, not reality or accountability
