A ton of credit for this defense goes to Coach Diaz, other position coaches, and the outstanding individual efforts by our defensive personnel. But, let’s not forget to give Coach Simpson a little love. The guy comes in year one and helps lead a very solid d-line campaign, with a couple potential draft picks and a potential All-American, D-Tackle in Gerald Willis. Even Tito showed marked improvement by years end. Credit first goes to the players on the d-line, but my hat is off to Coach Simpson as well.
