Canam1965 that's spot on and Bill Maher who I don't always like, is speaking my language with this one.

I have posted numerous times on this forum and had numerous discussions with younger people about the REAL and POSITIVE PROGRESS this country has made since I was a kid in the 1960's. In ALL areas, race, religious tolerance, woman's rights. gay / lesbian rights, and opportunities for all. Yet, the left continues to use these issues as a weapon to garnish votes. No other reason. Not 1 time have I ever thought the work was done but the job we have done to date is certainly admirable. It should be applauded and the positives talked about but most only want to live in the negative.

Great points. This defines @cdwright40 and @cortez55403 to a tee. They forget history. “There was a world before they were born,” is $$. They should take that to heart.

It defines far too many and the brainwashing is NOT GOOD for continued progress. In fact I think it is detrimental to moving forward. It's the opposite.

Thanks for posting this canam. I subscribed to HBO, SOLELY for Bill Maher and Curb your Enthusiasm. Then DISH network dropped HBO several years ago.
I may not agree with everything Maher says, but he ALWAYS makes solid points that EVERYONE can get behind. This clip is a great example of that. Regardless of where you stand on the issues, Maher cuts through the party bullshit and speaks on a practical level. He is spot on here with regard to the younger generation. He's also on point with the progress that's been made over my 62 years on the planet, and before. Yes, he skewered Trump at every turn during his Presidency, which I didn't like, but then he does bits like this one that are spot on and eloquent.

I may not agree with everything Maher says, but he ALWAYS makes solid points that EVERYONE can get behind. This clip is a great example of that. Regardless of where you stand on the issues, Maher cuts through the party bullshit and speaks on a practical level. He is spot on here with regard to the younger generation. He's also on point with the progress that's been made over my 62 years on the planet, and before.
