Tell me coaching isn't just as important, if not more important than the players on the field. They may be equally important but this evening showed how important a good coach is and why Manny is not ready for big time football yet.
Not a huge Butch fan but he just showed everyone what an experienced coach, with inferior talent by just about every measure looks like versus a first year coach with an inexperienced staff and better talent.
Manny and this staff was out coached in every facet of the game. They were unprepared for everything that FIU did on both sides of the ball from the start of the game and made no adjustments that worked at any point of the game.
I'm almost believing the thought FIU was a push over and they were looking past them to Duke.
This is a sad time in Canes football. My father and I have been season ticket holders for 20+ years but will be considering not renewing. Feels like we're being swindled by this program... again.
