Short answer is "NO". I truly wish we could change terms though. Liberal in a historical sense was a term that had a meaning and while differing with my personal views did have a reasoned goal. Liberalism at its inception was based upon a belief in public funding for a very limited group of individuals that were currently experiencing difficult times and a desire to provide temporarty assistance. to help them get back on their feet again. A noble goal that has made its way into the general public understanding and is actually supported by most Conservatives and most importantly to me, by most Libertarians , which I consider myself one.

In the 1960's the "Liberals" asked that they be allowed to be left alone. They asked that who they slept with was their business and to leave them alone. They were right. But now far too many of those people that asked for respect of their personal privacy are attempting to intimidate others that do not agree with them on a variety of subjects.

Sadly now, it is the Liberal's under the Democrat banner which has come to be dominated by anarchists, socialists and communists, that have taken on facist and authoritarian traditions to attempt to intimidate and harm those that disagree with their propaganda.

No they consider it part of their job description that being deceitful and lying is ok
if it gets you elected. This includes flip flopping on issues depending on who you are
talking to (fracking), making stuff up depending on who you are talking to (college attended),
and saying one thing is bad one day and then good the next (Kamala debut stance with racist Biden to the most loving guy in the world), and ignoring plain sight facts (peaceful protests).
Many more examples in each category let alone hidden financial gain issues.
