Saying the Canes haven't contributed to any reason for optimism & excitement is a gross understatement, I know..
But looking at the week 5 lineup, can any of you recall such lackluster match ups, this far into the season ?
I guess (in large part) it's because the current crop of elite teams (Bama/Clem/OU/ OSU etc) have put such a gap between them and the competition, that they're 28-35 pt favorites every week.
Whatever it is, something really seems to be lacking this year..
I'm sure seems worse because of the sobering reality that Miami is still floundering in irrelevance and looks like every other bad team, take your pick from 100 of 'em.
