Just an observation from a fan of all the Canes sports, we need a change in the culture of the entire athletic dept.
Players/athletes on many of the teams in all sports seem to be OK with losing or doing just "alright".
Losing was unacceptable to the 80's football teams and that accountability and drive to be the best bled into the other sports. Nowadays that doesn't seem to happen on the football team as well as the basketball & baseball teams, swimming, volleyball, soccer, etc.
We need an entire culture change and it starts with the big money, high profile sports. Losing and "just OK" is certainly not acceptable with a fan base that bleeds orange and green and shells out lots of $$$ for tix, swag, etc.
I hope a culture change happens soon because the past 13 or so years have been frustrating as hell.
Go CANES!
