2016 basically launched James Franklin Penn st career and turned things around. The beginning of that year in September they lost 2 games to Pitt which was a bad loss and Michigan who blew them out and embarrassed them. Their only wins came against temple and Kent st. They were 2-2 heading into October and James was arguably underserved you on the hot seat
Then October Happened. They ran off 8 straight wins including a big win over then #2 Ohio st. They went on to win the BIG10 and just lost to USC and Sam Darnold.
October is going to be a big Month for Miami. UNC has to play Clemson and VA. This can definitely be the month Miami and Manny take control of the coastal and change the narrative of him and the program the same way October changed the narrative about James Franklin and Penn st.
