I know people traveling to other states, signing up to get vaccinated, getting 1 shot and never going back. That shot is their 3rd vaccine. Same here in Florida. I have friends who went to CVS yesterday stuck out their arms, got the 3rd vaccine no questions asked. Soon all the vaccine numbers will be inaccurate.

Hasn't everything associated with this virus been inaccurate from the start of it?

Booster shots make perfect sense given that the vaccine gradually wears off over time - especially for immuno compromised folks, older people, overweight people etc. The replenishment of antibodies makes a big difference for someone who took the vaccine 4-5 months ago and wants to remain safe against Delta today.

They aren't immune compromised Raoul they are just getting it. That was my point. I intend on getting it as well.

Wow! This sounds like something else we’ve learned to live with, let me think. Yes, the flu , imagine that, learning to live with it, and not shutting things down, forcing vaccines, or wearing masks.

So if you need a Vaccine Card to live your life, I assume you'll need a new card, or maybe they'll punch a hole shaped like a little needle in your initial card, to stay qualified when you get the booster shot. Better yet, maybe they'll just chip everyone and update the chip in your body.

It‘s scary how fast we’re giving up our liberties.

Been out for 7 days now with Covid thanks one of my sons friends who lives down the street. He got my wife and son sick, who then got me. Other than some inflammation it hasn’t been too bad. Been on Ivermectin for 3 days. Have monoclonal antibody treatment Tuesday, although I’m not real excited about that. It’ll basically make me feel sick again for a couple of day and I don’t really feel all that bad right now. What a pain in arse!

Then why get it? If it's been 7 days bro by Tuesday it will be 10. I thought you were only supposed to get monoclonal antibody therapy if hospitalized or early on in your infection?? You should be fine by Tuesday.
Hope all are feeling well soon. Were you guys vaccinated?

I didn’t test positive until Friday but had symptoms a few days prior to that. They were so minor I chalked it up to allergies since I’d played 36 holes of golf this weekend. I tested Thursday with my wife & son. They tested positive but I tested negative. I also shot some afrin up my nose before going. Probably had something to
do it’s it.

not vaxed & won’t be.

What about Lamda variant? Are we awaiting Mike, November, Quebec, etc now?
