As history as shown, the first midterm election after a Presidential election tends to favor the party which is out of power... This was case in the 2010 Midterm Election when the GOP came roaring back to take the House, followed by another wave of great GOP Senators in 2014 to take the Senate.

So, with all of the liberal bitchassness which we have seen over the last 12 months fueled by a liberal bitch whore mainstream media spewing fake news shit every day, one would think that the Democrats clearly have the upper hand heading into November.

Think again.

First, before Democrats can flip any seats in the Senate, they themselves have to now hold 26 Senate Seats (Franken resigning), 8 of which are in states which Trump won in 2016. Most notably that comes to my mind are Joe Donnelly (D-IN) who is in Pence's home state with a strong ruby red base, and Claire McCaskill (D-MO), who is in a Republican state which Trump won by more than 12% in 2016. Florida will be the most interesting to me as a native Floridian. Not only is Florida arguably the most purple state in the Union, but a potential Scott v. Nelson matchup could be the biggest referendum or rebuke of Trump out of the 2018 Midterm Election. Certainly, there is some vulnerability for the GOP. Arizona is wide open with Flake leaving, but that turncoat clown means that the GOP is trying to win that seat back rather than trying to defend it. Overall, the Democrats have to defend HALF of the Senate before they can begin to talk about reclaiming a simple majority of it. Tough task, especially when the Democratic Party is ruled by flaming far left liberals.

Second, Tax Reform has given not only the economy but the GOP a significant boost. Putting money back in peoples' wallets is always going to score bigly with the public, and the fact that Trump has wiped out a ton of Obama regulations to help the economy hit a higher gear, further helps the GOP for the 2018 Midterm Election.

Third, the Democrats' ideology is still dominated by the flaming far left liberals whose primary political platform is to call Trump a racist and cry conspiracy theories from the rooftop. Look no further than the flaming far left liberals on this Board who showcase their Trump Derangement Syndrome on a daily basis by spewing fake news bullshit from the most discredited, left-leaning media outlets known to man. If all the Democrats can do is call Trump a racist, not attend the State of the Union, and pout all day on MSNBC/CNN like total pussies, then rest assured the GOP has more than a good chance of maintaining its majority status in BOTH the House AND the Senate.

The first year was a good year for Trump. Illegal border crossings are down, Travel Ban in full effect, the economy has been booming, Tax Reform is done, and my favorite- Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. But the GOP has to continue racking up victories, both big and small. The Democrats will be motivated more than ever based on their hate for Trump, and I believe we will continue to see record numbers of women and Latins come out to vote in November for the Democrats. The GOP has a lot of work to do this year and must CONTINUE to rely on its results. Put money in peoples' wallets, national security through border control, and working out some sort of healthcare reform.

They’re kicking ass!

Still got 10 more months for those weekly take home paychecks to resonate with the voting public. If the market keeps going up and when families can spend more due to more discretionary income, it will be curtains for Dems by Nov. Maybe even looking at a 60-seat majority in senate, due to how many seats Dems are defending. If we get 60 seats...well, just think of a Stone Crab that is caught by a criminal trapper. BOTH claws are ripped off and he is thrown back, at the mercy of all predators. A sitting duck (or crab), will be the Dems.

Public is going to be so pissed at Clinton, Comey, Obama, and these two rogue FBI agents all in cahoots to unsuccessfully bring down Trump while improperly using the FISA court. Couple that with good tax reform, border security, and the pathetic liberal politicians continuing to act like little bitches crying and not attending the State of the Union, and the GOP may very well get to 60 in the Senate.
