That’s why the Democrat Party took Cuomo out, and Biden got the DOJ to kill the investigations to effectively end the story. The Gov does have a right to control interstate commerce but I don’t think that’s how a court will see this. The cruise lines are a private entity and he does not have power over that. That being said those ports are controlled by the state and he can control that. He also does a t have to provide them with tax relief which the state does.
When you sign up to join the military you sign away your rights.
As an active duty military member, you agreed to those restrictions on your civil rights and liberties.

I subscribed and paid a fee to the BBB to gain accreditation. That's it. Havent had to show a record of our business practices and policies... success or failures of our contracts, client and/or employee satisfaction surveys...

FDA is doing the same thing. FDA approval is as useless as BBB accreditation and gives me no further confidence.
Could we also safely assume that Biden's shipments of Covid positive illegal immigrants has possibly had some effect on that as well?
VERY convenient that the states with the highest spikes in Covid are also the states that Biden and Co. deliver regular shipments of fresh illegals that are ripe with Covid to.

cortez loves to complain about restricting the free market but has no issue with the Hawaii governor restricting the free market and limiting the capacity of bars, restaurants, gyms, and social establishments to 50% indoor capacity.
The high spikes are simply due to lax COVID laws and no mask mandates by Governors like Abbot and DeSantis, who are privileging politics over public health.
So basically, science, facts, and evidence based inquiry mean nothing to you. Good to know.

We won't know what kind of long term side effects either will have until at least 2031. Then again in 2041 and 2051.
You SHOULD "casually" be saying while drinking a casual glass of wine in your causal shorts and boat shoes while casually lounging on your casual patio chair that you really have NO IDEA about either.
You CHOOSE to go with the potential side effect of the vaccine. Which havent even begun to be truly known yet... while the side effects that ACTUALLY are happening (heart issues like myocarditis) are being downplayed at every turn.
I CHOOSE to deal with whatever side effects that might come from my body naturally fighting off Covid on its own. The human immune system has evolved for centuries to be tough as goddamn nails.
Mine is up for the f#cking challenge, I assure you.
What I'm not willing to do is expose my immune system to some sort of foreign vaccine that could (and probably will) cause more harm than good. The vaccine does not prevent infection. It does not prevent spread. It does not cure.

There are plenty of reputable organizations who publish or reference scientific data. Try the CDC, WHO, and other widely used sites used by doctors and public health officials.

Governments (including governors) enforce public safety regulations all the time that restrict individual options/decisions. Ex. Mandatory seatbelts, speed limits, stop signs, motorcycle helmets etc etc. The Hawaiian Governor and many more have extended that power due to the Covid crisis. Similarly, individual businesses can and have imposed their own restrictions beyond those required by our new regulations. Ex. My fitness facility and barber require masks even though local regs don’t require masks. Its their business if they want to be stricter than the regs require.
DiSantis is restricting choice by vetoing decisions by businesses that go beyond state minimums. Ex. no vaccine only cruises. That veto negates the rights of businesses to have stricter policies and prevents travelers from making the choice to select a 100% vaccinated cruise. DeSantis is defeating the market freedom to go beyond government minimum measures. No bueno.

In that regard, I recently read an article that portrays anti vaxxers as generally: white, rural, Evangelical and pro-Trump. In contrast, Vax Hesitant people are generally: young, Brown, Black and not very compelled by medical issues.

Sorry, your logic escaped me. I argued that businesses and individuals should be able to self impose stricter safety measures for themselves than the minimum safety measures established by the government. Governments should not prohibit these extra safety precautions.
