My take is very different from the CaneSport.com intelligentsia - unless there was a certifiable upgrade available, and a competent AD to conduct any search it didn’t make sense to remove Manny. He hasn’t succeeded, but a case can be made that progress was made this year.
So , the administration may have decided to take a step back , not act in haste , hire a competent AD , evaluate the program and the coaching and then take appropriate actions.
Meanwhile we should be cheering for a win in Durham , supporting our recruiting efforts , preparing for a bowl game and making plans to go to College Station 🚉. .
