First off that talking you are referring to didnt happen under Butch. His teams were a little tight and he was very tight. I think Mario is probably closer to Butch than Dennis. But miami fans may sure love bravado but the country doesn’t. Plus, personalities aside, TVD is the STARTING QB at Miami. He’s the dude at the front of the team. He’s the only player I think Mario mentioned on day one. Ans hes the one that did talk last year when the chips were down on game week. It’s a little easier to be light hearted as the backup. But no the nation will not love us if we talk like Romberg or Jerome or Thomas. Our fans will. But let’s just win first. And after the Richt era qbs, a super serious pro sounds great to me. King may have been a better interview but was also very professional from what I saw.
