What an awesome accomplishment! To bad our FLA senators won’t support her and be on right side history.
Her resume was not nearly as accomplished as Judge Jackson. The senator from Miami should be ashamed not to support a fellow Miamian who uncle was a Miami-Dade police chief. We’re talking about depth community ties.Did any democrat senators support Barrett ?
Mother of many , including adopted kids of color and a special needs kid ?
That was historic
Not one idiot democrat senator.
Not a freaking one .
R U serious Coney Barrett vs Jackson ……accomplishments vs political activism…..Her resume was not nearly as accomplished as Judge Jackson. The senator from Miami should be ashamed not to support a fellow Miamian who uncle was a Miami-Dade police chief. We’re talking about depth community ties.
You realize this;What an awesome accomplishment! To bad our FLA senators won’t support her and be on right side history.
Relax y’all. Her dad went to UM! Besides Biden supported the current Chief Justice Roberts. So there’s that.You realize this;
During former President George W. Bush's administration, then-Sen. Joe Biden twice opposed and filibustered the nomination of Janice Rogers Brown to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in 2003 and 2005 despite her confirmation that year. Recalling the president's previous move, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted Monday Biden should "make amends" and nominate 72-year-old Brown, who retired from the D.C. Circuit in August 2017.
She was far more qualified and he led the filibuster against her back in 2003 and again in 2005 largely because she was a conservative. Spare us your misplaced indignation. Republicans and many Americans don't take kindly to weak sentencing for child sex predators. Is she qualified? Yes. Is she right for Supreme Court? Who knows.
There's what? They claimed he would be overly conservative yet he has shown to be more centrist. So it's all a show.Relax y’all. Her dad went to UM! Besides Biden supported the current Chief Justice Roberts. So there’s that.
Ok, Biden supported Scalia too. Is that good?There's what? They claimed he would be overly conservative yet he has shown to be more centrist. So it's all a show.
Maybe they would have supported her if she had gone to UM or UF law school. It is discriminatory that a young person cannot grow up with the dream of going to a law school in the state of FL, GA, SC, NC, AL, etc. and being selected to be on SCOTUS. The "Ivy League Privilege" is crushing the opportunity for so many. Future picks must right the past wrongs of not enough geographic educational diversity.What an awesome accomplishment! To bad our FLA senators won’t support her and be on right side history.
