Go read their write-up on the 2001 team, very well done with a lot of quotes from players, Davis, Coker, Soldinger, Swassey etc. They nailed it. One thing that stood out to me was Vilma talked about a conversation he had with Reggie Bush about which team was better. Vilma gave USC their props but told Bush that we had the same talent as USC and the difference was the U physically punished teams too. He talked about how tough practice was. They didn't practice soft to avoid injury at Greetree, they practiced to inflict it.
