I strongly suspect that what looks like warring media narratives is actually mostly agreement. Mario could have agreed to the terms finally reached and not need any other issues addressed or concessions made but be not willing to sign without a thumbs up from his agent. That is a very common approach for contract negotiations and some reporters could be getting sources providing details from the perspective of "mario has agreed and has decided he's good with moving on to miami" while others are getting sources from the "hes not willing to sign yet" perspective.
