Dont need to see much more of spring: its obvious the coaching on defense side to the ball was subpar. Kids look much stronger and will be in better position to make plays and this defense is easy to learn and plays into attacking style. We still have holes in the front 7, so it will still give up some yards, but I think in acc play we will lower the points given up by 6-7 points a game. And if its true what i heard from a good source (Golden Cane) - we are in the works to add one more solid DL and two experienced backers, so we could probably end up at top 30 defense. When our offense get rolling by the third or fourth game, we will be in th thick of things in the acc to win the whole thing and even beat clemson.
Fact: defense will be much improved with manny and company gone
