Lane Kiffin's efforts to build the
Florida Atlantic program took a major step forward on Friday when he hired
Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles to the same position, the Owls' coach told multiple outlets including Fox Sports and Sports Illustrated.
Briles spent nine seasons at Baylor, eight under his father Art Briles. He served as offensive coordinator the past two seasons, the first under his father and the last under acting coach Jim Grobe.
