But in his defense, much like with Will Muschamp succeeding Urban Meyer at Florida, Jimbo Fisher left him a mess at FSU. That roster was a mess and the culture was going south. Meyer did the same at Florida. Really killed it for 4-5 years and then the bottom began to fall out and he got the hell out of there before it imploded.
