QB is the most important position in CFB, and our recruiting and roster depth at the position with misses on Max and Michael Johnson has taken a hit.
Jon Richt by his own admission is QB coach in title only, but he IS the primary (and seems only) recruiter at the position. CMR as the real QB coach can only visit a recruit once as HC.
Other teams are sending the OC & QB coach to visit and meet recruits and develop relationships. Does that not put us at a real disadvantage? We're sending a messenger, while competing teams send the group or position coach that will be working most closely with the recruit.
