Seems paradoxical to me.....

My understanding is that this is not supposed to be a classic 3-5 year rebuild because Manny has been here now for 3+ years, was in charge of the entire defense, and Richt saved us a ton of money by retiring so we could go out and get good assistants... This was supposed to be a 12-18 month fine tuning getting back to 10/11 wins and a Coastal Division Title no problem getting to the ACC CG. After all, we had the Defense, 3 QBs, and a very favorable schedule with 2 bye weeks. All we needed was offensive innovation to boost scoring and help out the defense with some top recruiting assistants. Didn't seem like that much to me.

Now it seems like a whole different tune is being sung...

Now at 2-2, I'm reading about a traditional 3-5 year rebuild, and excuses about a new staff and all this, and how we need multiple recruiting cycles, and so on and so forth... Are the goal posts moving on a weekly basis, or did I misunderstand somewhere along the way...?

Not necessarily trying to single you on what I feel is a narrative shift, but I do believe I have seen you change your position to some degree on the current state of affairs, which may be understandable because we know things now which we didn't know 3 months ago.

I said 9-3 beginning of the year. I think 8-4 is probably a realistic expectation. A good OC can get us to 10-2/11-1. I don't think Enos is the guy, but we'll see.
