And you go, don't listen to @mshodell and stay in LaJolla. Lol. Stay downtown in the Gaslamp District. Close to the airport which is also downtown. Lots of nice restaurants, cigar bars within walking distance of hotels and the convention center. It's not far from the stadium which is on Friars Road off of I8 in Mission Valley. You can see those big gray vessels of the World's finest Navy pulling in and out of San Diego Bay. If you really be in BALLER status check out the Hotel Del Coronado across the San Diego Bay bridge in Coronado. That hotel is right on the in Coronado. BUD/S school which is the training for Navy SEALS is right down the street. It's damn near a 20 minute drive from the stadium to LaJolla up I5 without traffic. To answer Matt's question as to why people don't want to live in such a beautiful city, 500K minimum for a house under 1000 sq feet is why. Housing is ridiculous in San Diego.
