What’s to stop a team from hiring a coach that controls the game plan, calls the plays, etc and just calling that person an analyst vs the OC… then that coach doesn’t have to recruit and it is much more similar to an NFL OC?
Tom Herman ( or whoever) doesn’t want to recruit, great you are now the offensive analyst and you make the game plan and call plays at the same salary the OC gets…
