Appreciate your work and understand the pressure you and Matt are under getting information.

If I could give you a suggestion.

Your article clearly implies that Manny Diaz is likely to return next year. But then you put in a caveat that the new AD could still decide to make a change. Well then how likely is it? Sounds like it is 50/50.

1)If the powers above the AD are inclined to keep Manny regardless of who they hire as AD but that despite that influence theoretically the AD could still make a change then say that. Because that to me is a 80-90% chance Manny comes back regardless of who the new AD is.

2)But if it is REALLY up to the new AD then here is how I would have wrote the article. I would have simply stated without a BIAS EITHER WAY and said, "All decisions on the future of the HC-Manny Diaz have been put on hold until the new AD has been hired and can evaluate the situation. The new AD will make the call on Manny." Leave it at that.

Again the way you wrote it makes it a clear tilt towards keeping Manny will the slim chance that a new AD could still make a change.
