I think Matt was making a good point. We have seen others schools take decisive action where Miami has one coach currently in limbo where some are saying he is staying and some saying he is going.
We have a fan base , alums and donors that are on pins and needles hoping that the right hire is made and Manny is not brought back or it will be chaos.
I mean you look at TCU. Basically everyone knew Sonny Dykes was going there while they were still playing.
to Matt’s point Notre Dame is in position to perhaps get into the college football playoffs yet that didn’t stop Scott Woodward and LSU from coming after him as well as him bouncing on Notre Dame, where he is the winningest coach in their history, basically saying playoffs forget that I’m heading to Baton Rouge.

these schools acted decisively. Even SMU had Rhett locked up while we were playing.
both of you are still getting calls that say Mario or Manny. Meanwhile Manny, fans and kids are in Limbo. Hopefully it shakes out this weekend but if not once again to Matt’s point it shows the continued dysfunction. To your point Gary , behind the scenes everything looks good but to those that are outside like fans , alums, donors and such( look at the Bears Chris Fallica comments) it looks like total dysfunction.
