Maybe Biles is set for life but no one should underestimate an athletes' competitive nature. The record of the 2020 Tokyo Olympiad has to have an asterisk next to it.
A year later due to the Pandemic, the athletes adhering to safe distancing, masks, all athletes prohibited from leaving the compounds and the very thought of just having to be there with their health and lives at risk. This was unlike other Olympics of the past. Also having to train in the US adhering to emergency protocols then having thru go thru emergency protocols at the airports in Japan as well as the Olympic village.
And what about the events where the favorites were denied victorys when they were upset by a 2nd seed or 3rd seed? They had to follow the same emergency protocols as Miss Biles. Its unfair to say they choked.
