I want to take this opportunity to say goodbye to everybody on this board since today is my last day on CaneSport. I did not initially intend to leave the board at this time however, after careful consideration, I have decided to do so.
My main reason for leaving the board is that I am relocating to Quepos, a small city on the Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica where I will fulfill a lifelong dream as me and two of my brothers will be starting a banana plantation. I plan to spend my golden years tending to my crop, laying on the beach, and enjoying the great local cuisine.
But there are more reasons for leaving CaneSport. I have become very disenchanted after Gary Ferman failed to honor my contract. After 14 years, he has stopped paying me my monthly stipend for all of my informative posts regarding Hurricane history, sports trivia, as well as providing cheerleading recruiting updates, a subject that Gary himself has been loath to cover. In addition, young Matthew has failed to invite me to go fishing in the Keys on his 36 foot pleasure boat, and that has been a real bone of contention for me.
Finally, I am getting bored watching Blue Bishop get older. So My fellow Hurricane fans, I leave you at this time. Good luck to all, and please make sure that you are consuming the proper daily amount of potassium.
