Literally begging them to return to the city from the Hamptons, Connecticut, Florida, etc. It's revolting how he and the Mayor don't understand their choices have led to this exodus.

It's why Socialism and wealth distribution has (and always will) fail. Because it's a failed governing model. When you keep raising taxes, the biggest taxpayers (the wealthy) will simply pick up and move because they have the financial means to move at will, unlike the poor and middle class who are tied down to jobs. The nail in the coffin for NYC that pushed the wealthy over the edge was the riots and defunding of police. But even before all this, many of my wealthy clients from up there were moving down here when they found out they could only deduct $10,000 of state/local taxes. Some of them are paying about $100,000!!! Textbook example of the wealthy leaving the local tax base in shambles. And if Trump wins, it will be another four years before they can hope for any kind of bailout.

Yes New York is losing their tax base - Cuomo says come back let’s talk , I’ll buy you dinner or drinks - but he says they are not listening . No Sh*t Dick Tracy -
Tucker Carlson tonight was describing Penn Station as a homeless drug infested filthy disgusting encampment . With the line “ come to Penn Station let’s catch a train or hepatitis “.

Upper East Side NYC home robberies up 280%. Throw in everything else and the wealthy are gone. Hello Connecticut, Westchester County, Florida, etc.......and the mega wealthy won't even sell their NYC homes. They don't have to.
