Actually, and not to defend, Gruden wrote numerous emails that were found in discovery during the NFL investigation of the Washington Redskins team. Had that investigation not taken place these probably would have never seen the light.

Having said that if we go just listen to what these football players say to each other DURING any game there would be no NFL. Especially the old timers now in the Hall of Fame.

I don't condone what Gruden wrote but who here is clean? 100% clean? Hard to find.

The problem with Gruden's emails is that he works in a league with mostly African Americans. What's interesting is that several African Americans who worked with him have vouched for him. I am not condoning the stupid idiotic stuff he wrote but I do believe in free speech and privacy.
Do we we want to live in a society where private communications are outed at convenient times to ruin anyone anytime? I hope not.
