The whole border fiasco is a self-inflicted problem. The illegals come for jobs. Enforce laws on the books and there will be no jobs for illegals. Sounds good but they are being relocated all around the country with travel expenses, lodging, meals, medical care all funded by current taxpayers. Sounds free to me...and they aren't taxpayers until they secure jobs where they earn enough to qualify.

One bit of good news, The head of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) says the overwhelming majority of those trying to enter illegally are being returned rather than put in detention. He testified that CBP now has an average of 150 to 200 migrants in custody compared to 20,000 migrants in custody during the peak of the 2019 border crisis.

Honestly, Harris knows about as much as I about solving the border crisis and I don't know very much. Her doublespeak, root causes including climate change really aren't appealing to anyone and that includes many democrats and the fawning media. She is not a problem solver

The dilemma we face is that this is the only place in the world where you have a basically third world country bordering a global power. The demographics of that alone will ensure that we will have ongoing problems.

You might be right. However, we need an administration that is truly committed to a strong, secure border and the Biden administration isn't. I am not a fan of Trump but he did more to solve the problem that Biden, Obama and Bush combined.
Well, my comments about sending illegal immigrants to several states not near the border and caring for them on the backs of taxpayers are factual and if you are not aware of that, your facts are incomplete
Neither Biden nor any other administration has ever enforced the laws already on the books. Check out the facts on the number of employers ever punished for hiring illegals. These debates always remind me of the movie about Wall Street where Michael Douglas says, "Greed is Good".
