Do we want a country or the United Federation of planets? Its the sane vs the insane.. Luckily the majority of citizens that still want a country are well armed.

Votes can change a country. The left want open borders, free tuition, free healthcare and a lot of other radical stuff which would change this country forever. OF course nothing is free. We the taxpayers would pay for it all. And it would ruin the economy.
And right now we have the strongest economy in the last 50 years. I disagree with Trump on many issues. But I'm with him on this one.
I don't necessarily agree with these policy positions, but you know school is free right now until 12th grade right? Health care is free right now if you're old or poor or you have a kidney problem. Trump has increased the federal deceit while in office.
Like I said I'm not necessarily a proponent of those ideas, but it's a stretch to say that they are super radical, or that Trump is the protector of fiscal conservation.
I agree with your view of the left . But don't for one second think that the right is any better. It goes beyond the puppet that sits in the White House. The right wants less government so that their companies can run without rules fvking over everyone on their path.

Congress is such a train wreck. If they spent as much time doing things for their constituents as they do finger-pointing and playing the blame game, all of us, regardless of political lean, would be much better off.

You know what Medicare is right? It's a 700 Billion dollar program for old people that they don't have to pay a premium for.
It costs 700 billion dollars. If it's a 99% discount at what point does it become free? If the Democrats wanted to discount healthcare for everyone 95% would you guys be okay with it? No you would call it free healthcare, so don't pretend like Medicare isn't' basically "free". I pay a premium every month for my insurance. Medicare people don't. That's free.
They're both free. Medicare costs way more than Medicaid. Old people are the sickest and cost the most money and they have most of their healthcare covered by the government right now.

Nobody or No Sane America wants open border. Just want the process to be better and fair. Stop the Xenophobia and foolishness. This is a real problem. Humans have been dealing with this for thousands of years. You have to think of this from a Human viewpoint also. Miami is a great example. All of us who grew up in Miami and are over 40 + can speak to that. I remember the Cuban and Haitian Exodus (or whatever you want to call it). I remember my father telling me this is going to be bad before it gets good. Miami was a mess for a good while before things stabilized. Cuban Americans received asylum and the Haitian Americans are kinda similar to what's going on now. Many were escaping terrible conditions and horrible tyranny. Same for Cubans but America recognized it and granted them legal asylum. I will let you decide on why the Haitian never got the same. So the people today, are facing some of the same or worst conditions as the aforementioned groups that came to Miami in the 80s. Our leaders need to come together and understand the problem. It two parts to this. We are not into nation building but if your neighbor is starving and you are smoking ribs everyday, you can bet your last dollar they are coming to your house. Sounds simple but it real. America can't have starving neighbors and reasonably think they are not going to come to not starve or to provided a better life for themselves and family. No Human Being would do that. I don't care what race you are. Why the hell you think the Pilgrims came over. Shit was not lovely in England. History repeats itself all the time. With that said, I don't support open borders but I'm human enough to know that if my neighbor is starving or suffering in any form, no Wall or Gate is going to keep to from seeking better. We will have to work with these countries in some way to make life better or the problem will continue. And for those who are truly suffering, just like the Cubans and Haitians in the 80s, we have to hear them out. We all came here from somewhere else and that's what make Donald Trump so bad. He may be a great businessman and good nationalist but Great Leaders have humility and work toward real answers not foolishness. He is a very foolish man, I'm sorry. Go Canes. God Bless America.
Medicare has more than just Part A....most folks get a supplemental plan cause Part A & B only covers 80% of cost...not too mention Part D
Pilgrims came over and built something .. .a very large of the "economic refugees" from Latin America and from Haiti are simply coming to get "free stuff". There ARE many immigrants from every country in Latin America .. and Mexico .. that DO come in LEGALLy .. process documents, requests, come in under visas, and are able to work and gain citizenship. The problem is the illegals who come in .. want 'free medical care', free housing .. fundamental things that NO AMERICAN HAS. I have seen the Haitians arriving in Miami ... van loads ... literally just off of a boat docked on the Miami River. Arriving at the DMV (department of motor vehicles) with documentation already prepared to get a drivers license .. the golden ID card. They were prepped in Haiti .. it was part of their package .. along with instructions on the types of Welfare they could immediately apply for as soon as they had "ID". It is an industry in Haiti and in Mexico and Guatemala. Selling the "cornucopia of free benefits" as soon as you arrive in "Gringolandia".

100% correct. And that's what Trump refers to as The Swamp. A lotta "professional" politicians on both sides. Founding fathers never meant for politics to be a profession. I don't see a solution since these same politicians would have to vote "yes" on term limits.

I don't know what you guys are even arguing anymore. Someone was freaking out about free healthcare. I said it's already free for old people so it's not as big of a change as they were acting like it is. You guys then are like, "uh it's not free, I pay 200 bucks a month". But you're receiving thousands of dollars in medical care and social security probably pays you more than you pay in health care premiums, so if you want to nit pick at the word free you can, but the overall point was we have socialized medicine for the millions of people in the United States and having more isn't a radical change.
