I set the DVR and run my errands or go somewhere with the wife to enjoy our time off together while getting scoring updates on my phone.
If we win (UVA) I come home and watch the replay at my leisure. If we lose (VT/GT) I hit the delete button and watch some other game of importance.
I did this midway through last season and it kept my blood pressure down and my TV in one piece.
