I’m a partner at a large consulting firm and we are doing some work for a client (Walmart HQ) in northwest Arkansas about 20 miles from U of Arkansas. So I’m flying out tonight sitting in first class on the plane wearing a Miami shirt and a guy sits next to me and starts talking. Eventually the conv turns to college football. Turns out he’s an assistant football coach for Arkansas. So I ask him what’s the SEC’s coaching community opinion of Miami. His words were “a sleeping giant” and laughed and said “can we keep it that way for a while?”
